Responsibilities
Assist in water quality monitoring and ecological field surveys in surface waters
Calibrating sampling equipment
Obtaining field samples and delivering samples to the analytical laboratory
Making and recording field measurements and observations
Assist in field assessment of freshwater wetlands and marina pump out facilities
Assist in compiling and entering environmental monitoring data into electronic databases
Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Eligible candidates must have swimming experience
be at least 18 years of age
have a high school degree/GED
Preferred
Experience with canoeing, kayaking or light watercraft is desirable
