Senior Molding Engineer

Solves complex problems or problems where precedent does not exist and takes a new perspective on existing solutions

Qualification
Required
Degree in Polymer, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering (or equivalent), or significant hands-on molding experience
Strong knowledge of injection molding, mold tooling, materials and associated equipment
7 + years experience with cleanroom manufacturing, validations and process controls
Ability to analyze molding parameters, optimize processes and stabilize drift using a scientific approach
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Toolmakers, Maintenance, Production, Quality and R&D/NPI
Strong problem-solving skills with a structured, methodical mindset and attention to detail
Experience mentoring or supporting Technicians/Operators, promoting knowledge sharing and good practice
Willingness to travel to suppliers, toolmakers and customers when required, with a strong commitment to safety and quality
Preferred
Medical device experience in catheters preferred
