Responsibilities
Own end-to-end technical responsibility of Launchpad’s Salesforce managed package, including platform architecture, versioning strategy, and release lifecycle, serving as the primary technical driver while partnering with Product and Business stakeholders to translate roadmap priorities into scalable platform capabilities
Design and define upgrade-safe data models, metadata frameworks, and configuration patterns aligned to product requirements and built to support multi-customer scale and long-term platform evolution
Establish development and enforce packaging standards for Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and Custom Metadata to ensure consistent, high-quality, and scalable product delivery across development teams

Lead platform feature rollout strategies, enabling modular product releases while ensuring controlled deployments and backward compatibility across platform versions
Ensure alignment with Salesforce ISV best practices and security review requirements across all product releases
Create and maintain comprehensive product technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, design artifacts, release notes, and implementation guides, to support product clarity and development execution
Establish architectural review processes and release readiness gates to ensure platform quality, reliability, and scalability
Contribute directly to core platform capabilities using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and automation as needed to advance product architecture and unblock delivery
Lead the design, build, and AppExchange submission of Salesforce Managed Packages, owning end-to-end technical readiness through release
Architect and evolve CI/CD pipelines and GitHub environments to support reliable repeatable product releases
Establish and enforce development frameworks and engineering practices that improve product velocity, quality, reliability, and consistency across all development efforts
Design and implement AI powered platform product capabilities, including: Workflow automation Intelligent routing, Recommendations and summarization and Natural language interfaces
Define guardrails for responsible AI usage within the product
Design secure LLM integrations with strong data governance
Integrate AI-driven development practices and tools into the engineering workflow
Contribute directly to AI functionality embedded in the managed package
Help evolve Launchpad toward an intelligent workforce platform
Qualification
Required
8-10+ years of Salesforce development and architecture experience
5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development
5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Managed Package development (required)
Proven ownership of AppExchange products through multiple releases
Strong SaaS mindset (product platform vs single-org delivery)
Strong Salesforce platform expertise (Apex, LWC, APIs, Flows, security, data modeling)
Experience leading internal and distributed development teams
Strong product mindset balancing speed, quality, and scalability
Excellent communication across Product, Engineering and Leadership
Preferred
Salesforce Platform Developer II
Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certifications (plus)
Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud and Service Cloud, including case management–oriented workflows
AI platforms familiarity (e.g., Agentforce, LLM-based services)
Background in workforce, government, or human services systems
Experience designing secure, compliant enterprise platforms
