Responsibilities
Maintain and verify inmate records by cross-referencing data from the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, Pennsylvania Parole Board, Pennsylvania State Police, and various court systems to ensure absolute accuracy
Review court orders to manage changes in confinement, calculate sentence credits, and facilitate timely parole or discharge
Interview, photograph, and fingerprint inmates during reception and release
Coordinate necessary transport for court appearances and final sentence expirations
Qualification
Required
Two years of clerical or correctional custodial experience; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training
Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements
