Probook is a startup seeking a Founding Technical Recruiter to help build a talented team in New York City. The role involves partnering with leadership to identify hiring priorities, sourcing candidates, and providing an exceptional candidate experience as the company scales from zero to one.

Responsibilities

Partner closely with our leadership team and recruiters to identify hiring priorities
Build and maintain a world-class pipeline of engineers, product managers, and designers from top startups and companies
Drive creative sourcing strategies: from outbound research to leveraging networks, events, and communities
Develop a strong understanding of candidate motivations and startup dynamics to identify and attract the right people
Provide a high-touch candidate experience from the very first outreach

Required

2–5 years of high-bar technical recruiting experience at a Series A–C startup OR Recruitment Agency
Comfortable working 5-days a week in the office
Proven track record of 2–3 engineering hires per month
Deep experience with high-volume outbound sourcing and staying tapped into the hottest talent pools
Grit - willing to work 9-9-5
