Responsibilities
Architect and implement end-to-end ETL workflows using tools like Snowflake, DBT, Informatica, and DataStage
Lead modernization of legacy pipelines and cloud migration efforts, optimizing for performance and cost
Embed privacy-by-design principles into data engineering workflows, ensuring compliance with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and internal data policies
Implement and manage data governance platforms such as Collibra, OneTrust, Ataccama, and IBM Information Governance Catalog
Develop and enforce data quality rules, lineage tracking, and metadata standards across structured and unstructured data sources
Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, security, data science, and engineering teams to align on data strategy and compliance
Mentor junior engineers and lead training sessions on data governance best practices
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in data engineering, data governance, or related fields
Proven expertise in Snowflake, DBT, SQL, Python
Experience with metadata management, data lineage, and regulatory reporting
Familiarity with cloud-native data platforms
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
