Project Administrator
Tessera is a national non-profit government contractor dedicated to creating opportunities for people with disabilities. They are seeking a Project Administrator who will utilize technical skills in project management and cost estimating to support various projects and ensure timely execution while fostering teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities
Prepare project documents, drawings, plans, specifications, and related materials
Assist in developing cost estimates for vendor and subcontractor selection
Coordinate maintenance, repair, and facilities projects using Maximo CMMS
Support contractor onboarding, subcontractor management, and cost adjustments
Review blueprints and documentation to prepare labor, material, and cost projections
Consult with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to review scopes, estimates, and resolve issues
Prepare project cost statements, expenditure reports, and financial updates
Review project schedules and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely execution
Analyze material and labor needs for cost‑effective sourcing
Coordinate end‑user training for operators and maintenance staff
Maintain warranty and asset documentation for assigned projects
Provide backup support to accounting and work‑control clerks as needed
Perform life‑cycle and energy analyses for facilities and systems
Support accounting tasks tied to project and maintenance operations
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in Business, Accounting, Management, Facilities Management required
3–5 years of experience in construction, facilities management, public works, or government contracting environments
Experience in contract and vendor management
Working proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to read and understand basic mechanical, electrical, architectural, and civil engineering terminology
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance carrier
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access
Access to this federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID, in accordance with the REAL ID Act
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in general studies/engineering/management preferred
