Responsibilities
Configure new IT hardware, including servers and networking equipment
Manage and monitor internal assets to maintain accurate inventory records
Proactively monitor network and server reliability, usage, and performance to ensure security and availability
Analyze and resolve infrastructure issues
Apply system patches according to policy
Manage backup infrastructure, ensuring all systems are backed up as needed
Monitor backups to meet RPO/RTO goals and conduct backup testing per policy
Manage disaster recovery site, ensuring replication meets RPO/RTO goals and test failovers as required
Administer on-premises Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Office 365 suite
Provide Level 2 support to users and respond to network access issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, or equivalent experience
Ability to configure IT hardware
Strong knowledge of networking protocols and operating systems, including Windows and VMware ESXi
Solid understanding of backup and disaster recovery systems and processes
Ability to prioritize and schedule preventive maintenance for network and system health
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain user satisfaction
