Google is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Campus Lead to join their Data Center Construction team on the delivery of a campus in Ohio. In this role, you will manage large-scale data center projects, coordinate with multiple teams, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

Manage data center projects from inception through to completion
Support special research and development experiments, renovations, and upgrades of existing facility
Be responsible for gathering internal requirements and delivering solutions that satisfy customer needs
Maintain responsibility from construction to deployment
Resolve highly critical issues within the organization while maintaining adherence to project timelines and costs

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical fields
8 years of experience in program or project management
8 years of experience with data center equipment/environments, including electrical switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems and fire safety systems, with start up/commissioning processes
5 years of experience in a leadership role
Experience managing vendor relationships and standard practices in the design and construction industry, including design build processes and associated documents and agreements

Preferred

8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
Experience in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, and scheduling and achieving objectives within set goals
Knowledge of safety management best practices
Knowledge of large-scale facility electrical and mechanical systems
