Responsibilities
Coach leaders and apply in-depth knowledge of human resources best practices to provide fair and consistent guidance and determine best solutions regarding policy interpretation, performance issues, workforce planning, change management, conflict resolution, etc., to ensure alignment and compliance
Collaborate with other business partners and managers to improve culture and build trusted relationships aimed at improving employee engagement and satisfaction
Identify high risk employees and high priority retention needs
Work directly with managers and employees on a variety of human resources issues to ensure employee needs are met
Manage employee onboarding process to include all aspects including background check
Conduct regular, value-added, weekly site visits at all assigned locations
Engage in the strategic direction of the business and HR strategic planning
Maintain high standards of discretion and integrity in all HR practices and interactions and serve as a positive ambassador for the company culture and values
Maintain client confidentiality regarding all matters touching on human resources and employees
Assist in the administration of employee relations issues by utilizing resources, investigations, and HR leadership to implement solutions
Maintain in-depth knowledge of compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as policies and procedures
Assist in the administration of employee benefit programs including medical insurance, retirement plans, open enrollment, leave of absence, worker’s compensation, and others
Support talent management and performance management processes
Conduct workplace investigations including preparing reports and collaborating with HR leadership
Support the Performance & Talent team and HRBPs to create programs and share best practices for HR leadership
Assist the Employee Experience team with planning and logistics for large-scale employee events
Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to streamline recruitment needs and create hiring strategies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
3+ years of human resources experience in a generalist or business partner role
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of the role at all times
Experience with HRIS, onboarding (ADP preferred)
Detailed knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws/regulations
Polished communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Ability to travel to assigned sites within a 45-mile radius
Must demonstrate excellent time management and thrive managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work with senior leaders and influence decision making
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Must be flexible and willing to travel as needed to assigned locations on a weekly basis
MUST have a valid driver's license with a CLEAN record
