Responsibilities

Assembles disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing removing replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes
Oversees/completes assembly disassembly or overhaul
Configures aerospace vehicles and test equipment
Troubleshoots complex aircraft systems to isolate avionics faults and repair faulty components within guidelines published in authorized maintenance documents
Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components
Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance
Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements
Proficient computer skills, use of the Microsoft Office suite
A high level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required
Work with limited supervision

Required

Minimum 3 years of experience with military fighter aircraft maintenance
Minimum 3 years of experience installing aircraft modifications to include fabricating and installing aircraft electrical system wiring, connectors, electrical components or avionics boxes
Ability to meet international assignment health requirements required
Must have served a recognized and relevant aircraft training course or USAF aircraft trade training equivalent
Proficient in the interpretation of engineering drawings, workbook instructions, and technical manuals
Proficient computer skills, use of the Microsoft Office suite
A high level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required
Work with limited supervision
Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country
Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable
Employment is contingent on the candidate's ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country
Candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment
Offer will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned
This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)

Preferred

Prior F-15 Avionic experience would be beneficial but not essential
