ITS Network Manager (Senior Information Technology Systems Specialist) - Streets Department

They are seeking a highly skilled and innovative professional to join their team as an Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Network Manager, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the City's complex ITS network infrastructure. Responsibilities
Analyze the complex procedures and provide feedback for improvements
Work effectively independently or with teams of both technical and non-technical staff
Have a proactive mindset in identifying potential issues and implementing solutions before they escalate
Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including writing clear incident reports and documentation
Analyze complex procedures and provide detailed task to staff and support community
Handle high-pressure situations and adapt to rapidly changing environments
Qualification
Required
Two years of experience as an Information Technology Systems Specialist involving database management and on-line telecommunications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, or a related field
Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted

Some positions require the use of personal or City vehicles on City business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record. Use of a personal vehicle for City business will be prohibited if the employee is not authorized to drive a City vehicle or if the employee does not have personal insurance coverage
Preferred
Minimum of five years of supervisory experience
Professional certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent networking credentials
