The intern will assist staff with technical support tasks, perform research, compile data, and prepare reports while gaining experience alongside career professionals in various disciplines related to transportation.

Responsibilities
Compile, update and analyze complex sets of data for technical reports
Assist in the development of databases
Assist administrative support to career professionals in a variety of transportation disciplines
Assist in scheduling, planning and presenting, at public meetings
Assist in the development of organizational communications
Assist in the design, development and implementation of all types of projects, research studies, and surveys in their assigned program area
Do related work as required
Qualification
Required
Exercise of independent judgment
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Filing ability
Excellent computer skills; spreadsheet, databases, and word processing computer software
Ability to prepare clear and concise oral and written reports
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to make effective oral presentations
Related capacities and abilities
At least a second year student, enrolled at an accredited college/university majoring in a related concentration program
Academic standing and GPA are judged for placement preference
