CNC Machine Repair Technician
Young & Franklin Tactair designs and manufactures hydraulic and pneumatic controls for the aerospace and energy markets. The CNC Machine Repair Technician will utilize electrical and mechanical skills to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production machines, focusing on minimizing production downtime.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair or replace electrical and mechanical machine components
Troubleshoot mechanical fluid and utility systems
Troubleshoot and repair or replace electrical sensors, wiring and other electrical components
Fabricate, machine, install, and rearrange new and existing equipment
Perform preventative maintenance as required
Work with and support Facilities personnel as required
Performs additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Five years of experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machining equipment repair and operation, including motors, control electronics, spindles, ballscrews, guideways, sensors and switches
Knowledge of CNC control diagnostics, ladder diagrams, and PLCs
Strong working knowledge in the repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Ability to work from schematics, technical documents, and troubleshooting guides
Ability to work unsupervised; identifying, proposing, and implementing cost effective and timely service of equipment
Ability to work overtime as needed in support of production operations
This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization
