Responsibilities
Provides expertise in production engineering disciplines
Applies principles and practices typically associated with quality engineering, industrial engineering, and manufacturing engineering functions and coordinates with other support disciplines or core functions as required
Develops quality and cost-effective methods, standards, and systems for production by applying production engineering principles
Leads and participates in long-range technical research on proposed projects. Provides guidance to less experienced manufacturing support staff
Qualification
Required
3-5+ years of experience (OR a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience) in manufacturing, continuous improvement, and manufacturing support
High School Diploma or GED
High level of understanding of composites and manufacturing
Experience with Continuous improvement
Strong listening skills and a willingness to learn
High level understanding of composite fabrication and manufacturing
Ability to work cross-functionally
Basic computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, navigate through 3-D engineering models)
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
SAP experience
Manufacturing/shop floor experience
Lean and Six Sigma experience
Understands RCCA process, can prepare a business case, process improvements
