Responsibilities
Administer and monitor SAP systems including S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, and Fiori
Manage SAP HANA performance, backups/restores, patching, and upgrades
Execute system copies, client refreshes, transport management, and landscape support
Support SAP security activities including user administration, role assignments, and access controls
Perform daily monitoring, scheduled job verification, health checks, and issue resolution
Conduct performance tuning across SAP application and Linux server layers
Maintain operational documentation and follow enterprise standards
Collaborate with Linux and cloud infrastructure teams (RHEL/SUSE environments)
Troubleshoot cross-platform incidents involving SAP, OS, storage, and connectivity
Support SLA-driven production environments with occasional on-call needs
Assist with SAP modernization, automation, and hybrid cloud migration initiatives
Support audits, compliance requirements, and ongoing platform enhancements
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in SAP Basis and SAP HANA administration
Strong hands-on support of SAP landscapes (S/4HANA or ECC preferred)
Experience with Linux-based SAP environments (RHEL/SUSE)
Knowledge of SAP system monitoring, patching, backups, and performance optimization
Understanding of SAP security fundamentals (roles, authorizations, access governance)
Preferred
SAP Basis/HANA certification
Exposure to SAP GRC, audit/compliance support, or security reporting
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
Automation/scripting experience (Ansible, Python, Shell)
