Responsibilities

Design and architect enterprise-scale network environments
Configure and deploy routers, switches, and other network systems
Lead on-site installations of Cisco and Palo Alto hardware
Perform rack & stack activities, structured cabling, and hardware mounting
Troubleshoot connectivity issues, cabling faults, and access/switch problems
Support Wi‑Fi and wireless connectivity across Cisco, Aruba, and Meraki platforms
Work extensively inside IDFs, MDFs, and server rooms
Support and maintain server infrastructure, including:
VMware vCenter
Windows Server
Hyper‑V
Scale Computing

Required

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
MUST have strong experience with Palo Alto implementations/configurations!!!
Expert Level Travel Network Engineer
Candidates must reside in the Pacific Time Zone (PST) to align with operational and travel requirements
Design and architect enterprise-scale network environments
Configure and deploy routers, switches, and other network systems
Lead on-site installations of Cisco and Palo Alto hardware
Perform rack & stack activities, structured cabling, and hardware mounting
Troubleshoot connectivity issues, cabling faults, and access/switch problems
Support Wi‑Fi and wireless connectivity across Cisco, Aruba, and Meraki platforms
Work extensively inside IDFs, MDFs, and server rooms
Support and maintain server infrastructure, including VMware vCenter, Windows Server, Hyper‑V, Scale Computing
Networking: Cisco, Aruba, Meraki
Firewalls: Palo Alto (Required), Fortinet
Servers: VMware vCenter, Windows Server, Hyper‑V, Scale Computing
Security: CrowdStrike
Device Management: Autopilot (light exposure)
Ticketing: Freshdesk

Preferred

PCNSE certification
CCNP or higher Cisco certification
Proven experience deploying and configuring Cisco switches
Strong understanding of rack/stack, cabling, IDFs/MDFs, and data center environments
Ability to design, deploy, and troubleshoot complex network infrastructures
Experience leading multi‑site network deployments or refresh projects
