Responsibilities
Employing test-driven development (TDD), collaborating with the design team for new application features, identifying and fixing application bottlenecks, maintaining the core code, and updating applications published on the App Store
Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
Participating in estimating work is necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Android Development using Kotlin and/or Java
Must have experience in one of the mobile automation tools and frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)
Hands on experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch or using open-source tools
Must have experience writing automated tests using frameworks like Appium, Develop and document test UI automation
Java and Shell Scripting is MUST
Mobile Test Automation with Appium is a MUST, Selenium Test NG
Implement new testing frameworks for future products and features
Participate in code review of standards, procedures, tools, and quality improvement processes
Maintain automated regression suites/packages to be compliant with changing requirements and features
Work closely with Product and Engineering teams
Hands on experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch or using open source tools
Experience working with various source code and CI/CD management tools e.g. Jenkins, Perforce, Git, Bitbucket
Ability to work with limited to no guidance in a team environment
Experience with continuous integration & Unit tests
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution
