Assign writing assignments to the external and internal writing teams
Review Career Experts submitted content
Develop and enhance editorial guidelines along with content calendars to ensure quality and brand consistency across all digital outlets
Lead and oversee a team of writers, editors, and content creators, offering guidance, feedback, and conducting performance evaluations
Manage the creation and publication of various content types, including text, audio, video, and interactive formats, ensuring they meet quality standards and editorial deadlines
Review and approve final content, guaranteeing accuracy, appropriate tone, and compliance with company style guides and publishing standards
Utilize analytics tools to monitor content performance, identify trends, assess audience engagement, and guide future editorial decisions
Collaborate closely with VPC, marketing, sales, and product teams to align content strategy with overall business goals and support all campaigns
Qualification
Required
a minimum of three years of experience in a Managing Editor role
Master's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred
Demonstrated strong leadership skills to guide and inspire an editorial team effectively
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), analytics tools, digital publishing platforms, and comprehensive knowledge of WordPress and SEO principles
Outstanding writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills to uphold high standards of quality and clarity
Capability to assess content performance metrics for informed, data-driven editorial decisions
Proficiency in developing and implementing effective content strategies that align with audience needs and business objectives
Exceptional organizational abilities to manage intricate schedules, oversee multiple projects and team members simultaneously, with excellent time management abilities
