Responsibilities
Responsible for the implementation of the ABA benefit for eligible consumers under the age of 21 years with an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis
Primarily work within the Autism Program designing, implementing, training, and monitoring applied behavior analysis interventions
May be assigned to other appropriate clinical cases for the provision of ABA, including but not limited to developmentally disabled children and adults
Functions as part of an inter-disciplinary team and services are delivered both in an outpatient clinic setting and in-home
Have responsibility for direct oversight of ABA services delivered by ABA Technicians
Qualification
Required
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Licensed in the state of Michigan as a Behavior Analyst
One (1) year clinical experience with children having an autism spectrum disorder
Must have a valid driver's license
Current insurance
Use of a vehicle during working hours
Ability to physically perform the tasks
Preferred
Master's in Psychology and Michigan Limited License Psychologist (LLP) credential
Master's in Social Work and Michigan Master's Level Social Worker (LMSW) credential
Clinical or a Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis
Familiarity in the administration of the ADOS-2, ADI-R, SCQ, MCHAT, ABLLS-R, V-MAPP
Clinical experience working with individuals with significant behavioral challenges
Specific functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plan development and monitoring to target reduction and replacement of those challenging behaviors
