New Grad, Entry LevelGCA is a Small Disadvantaged Veteran Owned company supporting several government contracts, and they are seeking a Junior AV/VTC Network Engineer to assist with the U.S. Army TRADOC VTC/AV Support Services program. The role involves installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and Audio-Visual (AV) systems, alongside supporting day-to-day operations of LAN connectivity for these systems.

Responsibilities
Assist with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network switches and related infrastructure
Support day-to-day operations of LAN connectivity for AV/VTC systems and conference room environments
Assist with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of AV/VTC systems and components
Support Cisco VTC codecs and related video conferencing equipment
Troubleshoot AV signal flow, audio/video distribution, and endpoint connectivity
Perform cable installation, termination, labeling, and testing (CAT6, HDMI, audio, control cabling, etc.)
Assist with wiring and dressing AV/VTC racks according to schematics and drawings
Provide on-site support for conference rooms, classrooms, and briefing environments
Work with IP-based AV systems and ensure proper endpoint connectivity within existing network infrastructure
Maintain system documentation, diagrams, and service records
Qualification
Required
Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, subnetting, ports, latency, and connectivity troubleshooting) as applied to AV/VTC systems
Familiarity with Cisco VTC codecs and video conferencing technologies
Understanding of audio/video signal flow and AV integration principles
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and rack layouts
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio
Active Secret clearance
IAT Level I Certification (CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, or higher)
