Responsibilities
Design Development: Translate schematic concepts into detailed design drawings and 3D models
Technical Documentation: Produce comprehensive construction document sets (plans, sections, elevations, and schedules) using AutoCAD
Consultant Coordination: Assist in integrating structural, MEP, and civil engineering requirements into the architectural set
Code Research: Conduct preliminary zoning and building code analysis to ensure project compliance
Project Support: Participate in site visits, attend client meetings, and assist in the construction administration phase (RFIs and submittals)
Qualification
Required
B.Arch or M.Arch from an NAAB-accredited program
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an architectural office setting (post-graduation or significant year-round internship experience)
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required
Currently enrolled in the NCARB Architectural Experience Program (AXP) and actively pursuing licensure
A high degree of organization, a keen eye for details, a collaborative mindset, and strong graphic communication
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam is highly preferred
