Responsibilities

Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for end users, resolving complex hardware, software, and application issues
Serve as an escalation point for service desk tickets and operational incidents
Coordinate issue resolution with vendors, managed service providers, and internal IT teams
Assist with system configuration, user account management, application access, and basic system administration
Support technology deployments, upgrades, and maintenance efforts
Accurately document support activities, resolutions, and technical procedures
Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders and program staff
Develop and maintain process documentation, workflow diagrams, and standard operating procedures
Translate business needs into functional requirements to support system enhancements
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve system usability
Support IT project planning and execution, including scheduling, task tracking, and status reporting
Assist with coordination of vendors, resources, and internal stakeholders
Track project risks, issues, and action items to support timely resolution
Support user acceptance testing, training coordination, and system implementations
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams
Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
Participate in meetings, requirements sessions, and project status discussions

Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience
Demonstrated experience providing advanced technical support in a help desk, desktop support, or IT operations environment
Experience documenting business processes and gathering system requirements
Experience supporting or coordinating IT projects

Preferred

Experience working in a public sector or government IT environment
Azure fundamentals are a plus
At least two years of Tier 1 IT Help Desk experience supporting: Office 365 administration and support, Network printer support, User onboarding and account management using Active Directory, Workstation deployment and imaging via SCCM
Experience working with enterprise applications or cloud-based platforms
Prior experience in a contract or temporary IT role
