Senior Level, Lead/StaffTredence Inc. is seeking a skilled Senior Java Lead / Architect with strong Java and Python expertise to support and enhance their data platform ecosystem. This role involves understanding and modifying existing Java microservices, building Python-based ingestion pipelines, and integrating Kafka streams into Snowflake.

Responsibilities
Analyze and understand existing Java-based microservices architecture
Implement targeted enhancements and modifications to existing Java services (non-greenfield work)
Design and develop Python-based data ingestion pipelines into Snowflake
Configure and manage Snowflake connectors, tasks, and integrations
Integrate Kafka streams with Snowflake for real-time and batch data ingestion
Develop and manage workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow
Ensure data reliability, performance optimization, and monitoring
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend, DevOps, and analytics
Maintain code quality, documentation, and testing standards
Qualification
Required
Strong Java expertise with understanding of microservices architecture
Ability to read, debug, and enhance existing Java services
Experience building Python-based data ingestion pipelines
Hands-on experience with Snowflake connectors, tasks, and integrations
Experience integrating Kafka streams with downstream systems (preferably Snowflake)
Workflow orchestration and DAG management using Apache Airflow
Ensure data reliability, performance optimization, and monitoring
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend, DevOps, and analytics
Maintain code quality, documentation, and testing standards
Preferred
Experience in cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
Experience with containerization (Docker / Kubernetes)
Understanding of data modeling and ETL best practices
