Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and continuously refine policies, guidelines, and documentation supporting responsible AI development and deployment
Identify and mitigate risks related to bias, privacy, security, and operational vulnerabilities
Stay ahead of emerging global AI regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR, NIST AI RMF) and partner with Legal/Compliance to ensure adherence
Work with Data Governance teams to ensure consistency between data and AI policies while supporting effective data strategies
Serve as a connector between data scientists, engineering, legal, compliance, and executive leadership
Build and maintain a centralized inventory of AI models, their use cases, data sources, and risk profiles
Design and deliver training programs to build enterprise-wide understanding of AI ethics, risks, and compliance expectations
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Law, Public Policy, or a related field
7+ years in a governance-centered role (legal, compliance, data governance, etc.)
Demonstrated success leading organization-wide governance initiatives
Strong program and project leadership experience
Proven background in data governance and data quality management
Hands-on experience assessing AI risks and implementing mitigation strategies
