Responsibilities
Assist staff by compiling and organizing geological, hydrogeological, topographical, and other environmental data from multiple sources, including drinking water well logs, site-specific data, and aerial imagery
Generate geologic cross-sections, maps, and groundwater discharge concentrations models that support the evaluation of hydrogeologic reports
Develop applied experience in geological and hydrogeological data analysis
Gain proficiency using environmental data visualization tools such as ArcGIS and Rockworks
Understand the role of hydrogeologic reviews in groundwater discharge permitting
Strengthen technical communication and presentation skills through data interpretation and reporting
Qualification
Required
You must be actively enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution and reached junior or senior level status going into fall 2025 or an actively enrolled graduate student

Are you currently enrolled in a program leading to a Bachelor of Science or advanced degree (Master of Science or Ph.D.) with a major in Geology, Hydrogeology, Geological Sciences, Environmental Geosciences, Geophysics, or Geologic Engineering?
Have you had course work or training in any of the following (select all that apply): Hydrogeology, Glacial Geology, Hydrology, Geochemistry, Contaminate Fate and Transport, Field Investigation Methods, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Groundwater Surface Water Interactions, Groundwater Modeling?
Do you have professional experience with any of the following (select all that apply): Hydrogeology, Glacial Geology, Hydrology, Geochemistry, Contaminate Fate and Transport, Field Investigation Methods, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Groundwater Surface Water Interactions, Groundwater Modeling?
