Skillbridge Intern - Strategy & Capture

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a list of key pursuits for the business - assess capture readiness, review capture plans and track the status of business area captures with a focus on resourcing (time, money, people)
Partner with Solipsys functions drive capture and proposal discipline, acumen, guidance and support throughout the Pursuit to Start-Up phase
Understand Solipsys’ customer marketplace, stakeholder customer organizations and budgets to identify market drivers and trends and develop strategies
Engage in business area capture activities (Black Hats, Win Strategy Workshops, Color Team reviews) and help pull together independent assessment teams (both internal and external)
Support horizontal reviews for key pursuits and assist with cross-functional capture team staffing

Required

Must be eligible to participate in Fellowship per DoD Instruction 1322.29
Must be projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military
Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date
Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command
Must be located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job location
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and minimum 10 years prior industry experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 8 years' experience
Experience leading cross-functional teams
C2 experience and customer experience
Active and transferrable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Prior US Military service
Advanced degree (MBA or STEM-based preferred)
Domestic and/or international business development & capture management experience
Intermediate or Advanced Capture Management Certification (or external equivalent)
Working knowledge of Strategic operations processes (e.g., investments, financial planning, pipeline management)
