The role requires a deep understanding of legacy desktop code and strong full-stack web development skills to collaborate closely with lead developers and team members throughout the modernization process.

Responsibilities
Analyze and understand existing desktop application code to support migration to a web‑based application
Develop user interfaces and web components using ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS
Work closely with lead developers and project team members to ensure alignment on architecture and implementation
Develop and maintain web services and backend logic using .NET technologies
Support modernization of legacy WinForms or WPF forms into modern web UI patterns
Use TFS or Git for version control, branching, and code collaboration
Write complex SQL queries and support integrations with relational databases including Oracle and PL/SQL (preferred)
Contribute to front‑end development using Angular or React as needed
Ensure all UI components follow clean coding practices, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles
Qualification
Required
Advanced knowledge of systems development and design using Visual Studio .NET
Advanced experience developing ASP.NET web applications, web services, and .NET‑based solutions
Advanced proficiency in .NET technologies including Visual Basic, C#, and the .NET Framework
Strong experience working with MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery Unobtrusive Validation, HTML, and CSS
Experience with WinForms and WPF desktop application development
Experience with TFS and Git source control systems
Strong understanding of relational databases and writing complex SQL queries
Preferred
Oracle and PL/SQL experience preferred
Experience with Angular or React is desired
