Executive Assistant to the Commissioner
NYC Taxi & Limousine Commission is responsible for regulating the taxi and for-hire vehicle industries in New York City. The Executive Assistant to the Commissioner will provide high-level administrative support, manage day-to-day operations, and assist in coordinating major initiatives and meetings.

Responsibilities
Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Commissioner/Chair, Chief of Staff, and Deputy Chief of Staff
Manage the day-to-day operations of the executive office, including complex calendar management, correspondence, and coordination of internal and external communications
Support the agency leadership in operational and process management
Assist in the coordination of major initiatives
Play an active role in planning and organizing Commission Meetings and Public Hearings
Prepare reports, presentations, and official correspondence
Respond to inquiries from licensees, elected officials, and the general public
Ensure timely, accurate agency responses
Maintain project plans and workflow trackers
Ensure meetings are well-structured with clear agendas and designated leads
Support staff development initiatives to enhance administrative effectiveness across the agency
Qualification
Required
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of satisfactory, full-time experience related to the projects and policies to be studied in the position
A satisfactory equivalent of education and/or experience
