They are seeking a Senior Solar Engineer to conduct technical due diligence and energy production validation for municipal renewable energy projects, leading independent engineering reviews and validating projected energy production.

Logistics & Supply Chain

Responsibilities

Independently validate projected energy production estimates

Review PVSyst and/or Helioscope models

Assess degradation assumptions and loss factors

Evaluate shading analysis and system configuration

Review solar module and inverter specifications

Assess equipment suitability and system sizing

Evaluate performance guarantee structures

Identify technical inconsistencies or modeling weaknesses

Assess production guarantee enforceability

Provide written technical findings with supporting documentation

Develop formal technical memoranda suitable for public agency review

Participate in peer review and QA/QC process

Required

Minimum 5–10 years of solar PV engineering experience

Professional Engineer (PE) License

Experience supporting public agencies or municipal clients
