PLM System Design Engineer
TEKNIKOZ is seeking a PLM System Design Engineer with 5 to 7+ years of experience to lead global initiatives in product lifecycle management and supply chain processes. The role focuses on bridging technical and business domains, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring effective collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities
Lead discussions with business stakeholders to define, communicate, and sell the value of proposed technical initiatives
Develop strategic presentations and business cases to articulate the project vision, value, and roadmap to executive leadership
Drive global supply chain initiatives that enhance processes across design, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and after-sales service
Leverage deep PLM and supply chain process knowledge to design efficient data-driven solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify use cases where improved PLM data can deliver measurable business outcomes
Mobilize proofs of concept (POCs) and pilot projects to validate new solutions and scale them for enterprise use
Translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring alignment between business strategy and system design
Manage strategic project planning, execution, and risk mitigation across multiple global teams
Apply strong analytical and project management skills to evaluate performance, measure benefits, and report progress effectively
Ensure smooth collaboration between business, technical, and operations teams across geographies
Qualification
Required
5 to 7+ yrs experienced PLM System Design Engineer
strong business strategy, planning, and communication skills
PLM Experience is Mandatory
Candidate Should be a Green Card Holder
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)
5–7+ years of experience leading global supply chain and PLM initiatives in the electronics or manufacturing industry
Proven expertise in PLM enterprise software, integration technologies, and data platforms
Deep understanding of PLM data utilization across enterprise, manufacturing, and supply chain functions
Demonstrated ability to build business cases, drive process improvements, and measure impact
Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to operate at both detailed and strategic levels
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, capable of engaging executive-level stakeholders
Ability to deliver large-scale global projects under pressure, ambiguity, and tight deadlines
Preferred
Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline
Proven ability to operate independently, make quality decisions, and drive high standards in delivery
Comfort with ambiguous problem statements, with the creativity to define high-impact projects that align with business value
