Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in PLC-based machine control systems
Develop and modify Siemens PLC and HMI programs to improve efficiency and quality
Lead electrical control system design from start to finish (panel layout, field wiring, schematics)
Support commissioning, startups, and upgrades of automation systems
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance uptime, safety, and product quality
Partner daily with maintenance technicians, operators, and engineering teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (controls, power, or automation focus)
3+ years of experience in controls, automation, or electrical engineering within manufacturing
Hands-on PLC troubleshooting experience in live production environments
Siemens PLC experience required
AutoCAD experience required (electrical schematics and control drawings)
Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits, industrial power distribution, MCCs, and high-voltage systems
Preferred
Experience in wire, cable, metals, continuous process, or heavy manufacturing
Experience with drives, motors, and industrial networks
AutoCAD Electrical experience
Commissioning or system upgrade experience
