Responsibilities

Develop and support applications in Unix/Linux environments
Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database objects (tables, views, packages, procedures, functions, triggers)
Write and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries
Perform performance tuning and query optimization using execution plans and indexing strategies
Develop and maintain Shell scripts (Bash/Korn Shell)
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
Support deployment and release management activities
Assist in database upgrades, patching, and data migration tasks
Monitor system performance and application logs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders

Required

8+ years of hands on Unix Scripting development experience along with Oracle SQL/PLSQL DB Background
6+ years of experience in Unix/Linux environments
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database (10g/11g/12c/19c)
Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis
Strong Shell scripting experience (Bash/Korn Shell)
Experience with job scheduling tools such as Control-M or similar
Familiarity with version control tools like Git or SVN
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
