Software Engineer II [C2]
RTX is a leader in defense and aerospace, dedicated to helping the nation and its allies through innovative technology. They are seeking a Software Engineer II to contribute to the development of Command and Control (C2) mission-critical applications, working in a collaborative Agile environment.

Responsibilities
Perform as a contributor working as part of a high performing Software Product Team
Participate in software C2 software application design, implementation, and test
Collaborate in a cross-functional / Agile environment
Travel OCONUS: Up to 25% per year
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) AND a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
Experience with Object Oriented Design and Development
Experience in C# and/or Java application development
Experience in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
Experience with relational databases as part of a software solution
Able to obtain program access after start
Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance as and when required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
Working knowledge of SQL
Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work effectively within large, cross-functional teams
Experience with modern web UI frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, or React, and a solid understanding component-based architecture
Experience with one or more scripting languages
Experience with reactive programming paradigms and frameworks for building scalable, event-driven applications
