Responsibilities

Read and follow work order instructions (SOW/MOP) to ensure your rebuilding (LOCP) lost of commercial power to customer specifications
Gather parts and tools that are needed for the work order and ensure they are in good working condition prior to usage
Perform quality checks and basic testing on units before they leave the workstation
Utilize shop equipment and tools safely and appropriately. Return equipment to proper location once usage is complete
Must know how to read and understand drawings, piping diagrams, job specifications, mounting specs, voltage testing procedures, (DMM)etc
Ensure daily PPE inspections and adherence to safety protocols, have your own basic hand tools
Adheres to all safety and environmental compliance regulations set by the organization. Notify management immediately of any safety concerns, hazardous conditions, or injuries
Meet department and production goals set by supervisor
Ensure product quality meets company and T-Mobile expectations
Possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, cooperative attitude, strong attention to detail and can work in a team environment
Ability to learn other department job functions and fill in as needed
Ability to work a flexible schedule and work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
Install, connect and test underground and above ground power monitor systems
Work with Construction Supervisors and Civil Crew Lead to analyze job requirements such as labor and materials, completion of JSA forms
Complete work in a timely and efficient manner as delegated by Construction Supervisors and Civil Crew Lead
Work with Construction Supervisors and Civil Crew Lead to maintain a safe job site
Assist fellow employees in completing tasks on a teamwork basis

Required

Lift 30lbs floor to waist and waist to shoulder multiple times
Standing and walking for long duration and shovel and dig in dirt or rocks
Bending, squatting, and kneeling multiple times for long duration
Comfortable working in the heat and cold in an outside environment
Knowledge and ability to read blueprints, details and specifications required
Must have valid Driver's License
Ability to properly inspect and use PPE
Must have complete knowledge on use and care of basic hand tools and power tools
Must be able to work in a team environment on the crew and be a valued member of the team and the company
Participate in and eventually lead tailgate safety meetings
Maintain tools, keep clean and operational

Preferred

Mechanical, AC/DC power and Battery experience preferred
OSHA10 certification preferred
2+ years construction experience, preferably in telecommunications
Commercial/residential electrical experience preferred
AC/DC power and back up battery system experience preferred (PPC)
