Responsibilities
Management of federal and state non-disaster preparedness grant programs
Assisting with grant applications
Recipient/sub-recipient awards
Processing cost reports/requests for reimbursement
Monitoring recipients/sub-recipients
Grant reporting
Grant closeout
Grant data entry
Maintaining grant records
Managing a portfolio of assigned subrecipients/project leads
Developing state guidance to supplement federal guidance
Facilitating applications from state and local government entities
Reviewing and processing various grant documents
Other duties in compliance with applicable state policies and federal guidance/regulations
Assisting with continuous development, implementation, operation and improvement of a new Salesforce Grants Management solution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration, or a related discipline from an accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Documented experience in the administration and/or management of federal and state grants
Experience reading, interpreting and applying state and federal laws, regulations, policies, procedures and/or guidance in the area of grants management
Experience with skillfully communicating with grantors and other internal & external stakeholders regarding federal and state non-disaster preparedness grant programs
Experience with Salesforce or similar grants management software
