This role involves designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting complex Business and GIS software applications while providing mentorship and technical leadership to team members.

Responsibilities
Develop and modify complex Business and GIS application programs
Design solutions that account for system capacity, limitations, operational requirements, and IT architecture standards
Independently design, configure, code, test, debug, and document custom software programs and interfaces
Provide expert-level analysis and support during problem investigation and system design phases
Mentor, advise, and provide technical leadership to other Programmer Analysts
Offer technical assistance to junior-level team members
Operate at the highest technical level throughout all phases of applications programming and workflow design
Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and ITIL framework standards
Qualification
Required
Advanced proficiency with Workflow Designer
Expertise with Forms Designer, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript customizations
Ability to design token logic and routing workflows
Strong understanding of data modeling principles related to metadata
Proficient in SQL (read, write, and complex queries)
Knowledge of REST endpoints
Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve process failures
Understanding of how metadata impacts and drives public search functionality
