Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity projects supporting financial systems and regulatory requirements
Manage initiatives such as IAM, Data Security, Cloud Security, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, GRC, and Third-Party Risk
Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations (FFIEC, SOX, GLBA, PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO 27001)
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
Coordinate with security, infrastructure, application, audit, and compliance teams
Provide regular reporting to senior leadership and risk committees
Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
Support internal and external audit activities related to cybersecurity controls
Qualification
Required
Cybersecurity Program Management
Financial Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge
Risk Management & Governance (GRC)
Stakeholder & Executive Communication
Cross-Functional Project Leadership
8–10 years of combined experience in Cybersecurity and IT Project Management
Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech environments
Strong understanding of financial regulatory and compliance frameworks
Proven ability to manage multiple security initiatives in parallel
Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills
Experience with security tools such as Splunk, Sentinel, Qualys, Tenable, SailPoint, CyberArk, or similar
Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud security controls
Understanding of data protection, encryption, and access controls in financial systems
Preferred
PMP or CAPM
CISSP, CISM, or Security+ (at least one)
CRISC (nice to have)
ITIL Foundation
