MRO Procurement and Inventory Specialist
HANWHA AZDEL, Inc. is establishing a new position for an MRO Procurement and Inventory Specialist responsible for developing and implementing an inventory management system. The role involves sourcing, procuring, and managing inventory related to maintenance parts and supplies, while also supervising other employees.

Responsibilities
Purchasing duties to support all departments of the company
Advise responsible personnel of any problems or delays that could affect plant operations or delivery of products to customers
Work closely with operations representatives to determine best items, suppliers, and prices to purchase in support of company goals
Determine most cost-effective and efficient methods for ordering (bundle orders, stocking programs with suppliers, etc.)
Create and maintain MRO processes within and across departments to provide a reliable storeroom of critical spare parts and other inventories as needed
Reporting to specific KPI goals such as inventory accuracy, cost savings, stock outs, inventory turns, and other KPI’s as identified by Sourcing Manager and/or Finance
Maintain min/max levels based on usage frequency, value, and supplier lead-times to ensure continuity of supply. Work with all department heads to minimize inventory on hand
Daily cycle counts to ensure parts are counted to frequency as determined by Finance
Organization of stock locations where all materials are clearly labeled, and bin locations are maintained to allow for first-in-first out use of materials
Support monthly accounting close by providing detailed reports of MRO usage and adjustments for accurate expense recognition on the monthly P&L
All other duties as assigned by the Manager
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
5 Years MRO experience in manufacturing organization
3 years MRO purchasing experience
Forklift Certification or ability to be certified
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds multiple times per day
Required to stand and walk for extended periods; up to 6 hours throughout the day
Ability to climb ladders, bend, stoop, reach, and climb stairs throughout the day
Must have experience with ERP / MRP systems
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be self-driven and perform at high level without constant supervision
Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft Office programs
Preferred
Lean initiatives / Six Sigma Certification
