Responsibilities
Managing incoming and outgoing packaging materials
Scanning packaging items to production process orders
Become proficient in the use of SAP computer software and barcode scanners
Help with organizational and recording responsibilities
Work on box machine
Perform a physical inventory count twice weekly of packaging items
Be responsible for physical reconciliation to computer records
Prepare reports for supervisor relating to the inventory balance and shortages
Follow company standards and legal regulations to ensure safe and positive atmosphere
Keeping work area clean
Communicating effectively both orally, and in writing
Reporting safety / policy violations to the supervisor
Standing, walking, heavy lifting, pulling, bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, and sitting
Working inside, on slippery surfaces, around moving objects, in high humidity, possibly in high places, and/or in cramped working quarters
All miscellaneous duties, as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be dependable with an ability to follow directions
Strong willingness to learn
Proficient in the use of SAP computer software and barcode scanners
Detail-oriented
Strong clerical skills to help with organizational and recording responsibilities
Prepare reports for supervisor relating to the inventory balance and shortages
Follow company standards and legal regulations to ensure safe and positive atmosphere
Communicating effectively both orally and in writing
Standing, walking, heavy lifting, pulling, bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, and sitting
