Responsibilities

Construct, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair or replace wiring, electrical devices, medical equipment, and machinery
Install new circuits and entertainment equipment
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the continued functionality and safety of systems
Follow all safety and health protocols, including proper lifting techniques, use of protective gear, and compliance with infection control guidelines
Report all incidents immediately and perform additional duties to support the effective management of Caswell Center and the well-being of its clients

Required

High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma
Two years of experience in the construction or repair of secondary electrical systems
Ability to follow both oral and written instructions with precision
A valid North Carolina driver's license
May require appropriate licensure by the governing board or commission

Preferred

Considerable knowledge of standard practices and methods in the electrical trade
Strong skills in the proper use and maintenance of trade tools
Proficient in identifying and correcting defects in electrical systems and equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
