Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Build and manage ELT workflows using tools such as dbt, Airflow, or similar orchestration frameworks
Develop and optimize data architectures including Data Lakes and Lakehouse platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)
Support batch and real-time data ingestion for analytics and machine learning use cases
Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization across platforms
Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Business Stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Databricks)
Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow preferred)
Solid understanding of data modeling and dimensional design (Star/Snowflake schema)
Familiarity with modern ELT concepts and scalable data architectures
Experience working in Agile environments
Preferred
Exposure to AI/ML data pipeline support
Experience implementing dbt transformations
Knowledge of streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark)
Understanding of DataOps and CI/CD practices
Infrastructure-as-Code exposure (Terraform is a plus)
