Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and power systems
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and test electronic power and controls equipment
Read and interpret P&ID, electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
Provide on-site and remote support as needed
Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation
Ensure all work is performed safely and professionally
Apply solid knowledge of standard practices, principles, methods, materials and tools used in the electrical trade
Act as a subject matter expert regarding electrical issues
Comply with all corporate policies and procedures, including quality assurance and security procedures, in the performance of duties
Assist engineering staff by leveraging production and QA expertise to guide designs towards producibility and reliability

Required

Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. In lieu of an associates degree, 7 years of relevant experience will be considered
5 years of experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical distribution systems or construction/technical environment, marine experience preferred
Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the maintenance and production of marine craft
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey status and technical concepts and results to both technical and non-technical leadership
Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and learn new technologies and tools as needed
Ability to travel up to 50%
