Responsibilities
Work directly with customers to define functional requirements
Architect and design LabVIEW applications using LVOOP and Actor Framework or similar design patterns such as DQMH
Develop and modify large scale applications built for long term deployment
Design and develop SQL scripts for SQLite, Microsoft SQL, or MySQL
Support electrical control panel design and instrument wiring diagrams
Commission systems on site
Train and mentor junior engineers
Step into a lead role on projects and mentor junior team members
Qualification
Required
5+ years designing and architecting LabVIEW applications
Strong experience with Actor Framework or equivalent design patterns
Experience with LVOOP and object oriented programming in LabVIEW
Confidence navigating and interpreting complex applications you have never seen before
Willingness to work in office initially to embed with the team
Preferred
Certified LabVIEW Architect preferred, or equivalent professional experience
NI Real Time experience with cRIO or PXIe
Exposure to robotics or vision inspection systems
Background within a systems integrator or custom automation environment
