The role involves working alongside engineers to perform testing, data collection, and developing prototype test fixtures and equipment using CAD software.

Responsibilities

Design and model various fixtures and test equipment in CAD software

Fabricate fixtures and test equipment

Manage small-scale projects

Perform high tech testing under Engineer supervision

Collect data and generate reports

Fabricate and test prototypes

Qualification

CAD softwareGeneral engineering practicesData collectionReport preparationProject management

Required

Must have experience with CAD software (SolidWorks)

Understanding of general engineering practices

Ability to collect data, analyze and prepare reports

Must be a currently enrolled student

Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May/June through August/September

Must be familiar with the university's requirements to participate in a co-op program
