Responsibilities
Serve as the escalation point for business issues and proactively identify opportunities that advance operational performance and strategic goals
Champion Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) excellence — follow policies and promote a safety-first culture across your team
In supervisory roles, enable your team to meet HSE and quality standards by ensuring tools, equipment, and resources are available, maintained, and fit for purpose
Ensure full compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures in your own work and departmental practices
Provide advanced technical leadership across the project lifecycle — from planning and design to implementation and continuous improvement — influencing engineering standards that balance corporate objectives and customer needs
Research and evaluate emerging technologies, assessing their fit and recommending innovative applications that deliver measurable business value
Lead complex engineering assignments that deepen your professional skills and require advanced application of industry techniques and judgment
Make independent, well-founded technical decisions and adapt engineering solutions to meet evolving project constraints
Manage projects with multiple interdependent variables and ambiguous precedents, driving clarity and results through structured investigation and creativity
Deliver across functions: equipment design and development, materials testing, specification writing, process optimization, technical research, and clear reporting
Contribute flexibly: perform additional duties as needed to support team and company success
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
Engineering background and experience solving technical problems and driving projects to completion
Ability to evaluate new technologies and translate technical findings into practical business recommendations
Communication skills — able to present ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Independent, analytical thinker who thrives in ambiguity and takes ownership of results
