Responsibilities
Accurately enter employee hours, tax withholding, deductions, and benefit changes
Collect, validate, and process timesheets and overtime data
Assist in preparing and issuing paychecks and payroll statements
Handle new employee setup and paperwork in the payroll system
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee queries
Compile summaries of earnings, taxes, and deductions for reports
Ensure compliance with tax laws and internal policies
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework is a plus
Previous experience in payroll or a related field is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), HRIS such as Workday, UKG, Kronos, etc
Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills, communication, and customer service
Understanding of payroll regulations and laws
