Responsibilities
Work in C++ in our Chrome and Chromium codebase
Improve the on-device performance of Gemini Nano
Develop new debugging tools in DevTools to support the built-in AI APIs
Develop new built-in AI JavaScript APIs and write API specifications
Integrate new large language models (LLMs) and LLM fine tuning to improve model performance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages
5 years of experience developing in C++ or Python
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field
5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms, with 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role
Experience running AI inference on-device
Experience in ML performance, systems data analysis, ML debugging, LLMs, or specialized areas within ML
