Lanes Group is the UK’s largest independent specialist infrastructure delivery partner, currently seeking a Network Technician to join their Water Project Management team. The role involves analyzing and resolving complex water network issues, developing management schemes, and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

Propose and support flow/pressure management schemes with cost-benefit analysis

Analyse data from metering software, logged networks, and other sources

Use GIS for network mapping, tracing mains, and supporting DMA/PMA planning

Identify network anomalies and design asset management solutions

Build risk mitigation plans and method statements

Liaise with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams

Plan and schedule project resources to meet deadlines

Track project progress, hours, and deliver client-ready reports

Support on-field delivery (e.g., probe work, isolations) and HSEQ compliance

Participate in the Health & Safety committee; line manage where required

Conduct surveys and inspections of existing drainage systems

Analyse and interpret data from surveys and inspections

Ensure that all drainage systems comply plans

Analyse water samples to ensure healthy water

Required

Full UK driving license

Clean Water Experience

Preferred
