Responsibilities

Liaise with reporting teams and clinical project teams, as needed, to gather clinical report and data listing needs and requests to ensure that all report/data requirements are clearly understood and meet the requestor’s expectations
Participate in requirement gathering, design, development, unit testing, user acceptance testing, and maintenance of clinical study reports and data deliverables for multiple clinical studies (databases) in accordance with department SOPs
Develop reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools
Work closely with Report Development and Validation teams to ensure report deliverables are released in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, and corporate compliance standards
Collaborate with IT teams to address and resolve technical issues

Required

5+ years of experience developing reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools, including experience with data transformation and visualization technologies
Experience with data modeling, data transformation, and data visualization
Knowledge of SQL and ability to write moderately complex queries
5+ years of experience liaising with stakeholders and documenting report requirements
Proven ability to produce complex clinical study reports
Experience working in a regulated environment and adherence to department SOPs
Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Excellent problem-solving skills, proactive approach, and ability to make and clearly communicate decisions
B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline. If bachelor's degree is in a non-related discipline, 7 years of experience working as a BI Developer is required

Preferred

3+ years of experience with major reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Cognos, SSRS, Oracle Reports, Spotfire, etc.)
1+ years of working knowledge of an Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system
Knowledge of clinical research processes, clinical data processing practices, and relational database fundamentals
